A friend of mine used to grow her own Iowa sweet corn. At the end of the season she would dry the corn and grind it into cornmeal. She would make the best corn bread I’ve ever tasted! You can’t buy cornmeal from the grocery store like that. Anyone know where I could find some sweet cornmeal???

I know that processed sugars are unhealthy, but what about those that are naturally found in fruit? I eat about 3-4 small or medium sized fruits a day, like apples, peaches and so on. Most of the fruits I prefer are rather sweet. Will the fruit sugars have the same effect on my body as processed sugar?
(I keep my processed sugar intake from things like cakes, pastries, soda, white bread etc. to a minimum.)

I am the bread winner in our home. My spouse is disabled and I have taken on the role of provider. Don’t get me wrong I make great money and when I was single made ends meet. Since we got married year ago I have had real stress trying to make end meet for two. My house and such has not changed, but other things have. We dont’ live luxuriously nor to we buy things frivolously. I started an part time job in hope that this will help our situation. My husband does not know how stressed I am. I can’t sleep at night, my thoughts are racing and I often wonder how can I hide this from my spouse? Hell, even couseling to deal with the stress would cost money I don’t have.
how do you go from making good money to not having a dime???,,,,
