what options do you have? something healthier. savoury instead of sweet. any sandwich combo you like also welcomed !
is there a kind of vegetable spread i can make myself?…without much mayo please. also it will be best if it can be kept for sometime in the fridge (like at least a week)

Zucchini-Mushroom Sandwich
Brush onion and zucchini slices with olive oil and sprinkle vinegar over them. Put mushroom slices in another baking pan and brush with olive oil. Bake both of them in a preheated 475ยบ oven until they turn lightly brown. Combine the roasted vegetables together. Add salt and pepper.
Spread the vegetable mixture on the bread slices.

Lettuce and tomato sandwich with a little mayo is really good. How about various cheese sandwiches?

you can make some delicious bean spreads if you have a food processor.
1 can of chickpeas, puree with 2 T of nut butter, 1 T lemon juice, salt and pepper
1 can of black beans, puree with 1/4 cup salsa
spread on bread and add any veggies you like, I like cukes, sprouts, and tomato.

Make yourself a toasted grilled cheese sandwich
add a slice of tomato to inside of sandwich before covering and frying in the pan.
I do not think a sandwich should be kept for a week in the fridge. They are quite easy to whip up in a few minutes and they taste better when freshly made.
Tomate and lettuce sandwiches are great with a little Miracle Whip salad dressing on the bread.
