My breadmaker died on me yesterday so I have made bread today by using the dough hook on my Kenwood processor – I’m not sure the breadmaker recipe will work so time will tell – but for my next loaf I’m looking for the ultimate white bread recipe, I want a light loaf – not too dense with a soft crust!
Also any advice on using a processor in the process would be helpful – I didn’t really know what to do today so put my wet ingredients in first, then mixed all dry together (inc yeast) and poured on top and had bread hook in mixer and mixed for a couple of minutes on low until dough formed ball, left in mixer for first rise, knocked back then in loaf tin for second rise – is this correct?
Thanks
