I just ate a white bread sandwich and it was such sharp bread my mouth is cut up.
The damn maintenence men for my condo have also been making loud racket all day.
They left a mess of metal and gutter pieces in front of my garage that I had to clean
up in order not to get a flat tire.
I dont know what made me mad, the white bread cutting my mouth up or the maintenance men?

A few years ago, a friend and I bought a loaf of bread from a supermarket in Paris. It was a regular loaf of bread, but it was lightly sweet and really delicious. Neither of us can remember what the bread was called or what the brand might be. Anyone else know?

I’ve search many places for how long it take for mold to grow on white bread. I want to ask which one is the real date for mold to grow on real bread.
I’ve seen these results:

So which one IS the real time it take for mold to grow?
How to make bread rise properly?

We have been trying to make bread at home lately, and it seems like such a simple thing and yet we are not getting the lovely fluffy consistency that you get with shop-bought bread. We are currently just using yeast and dough and some warm water and whatever we fancy flavour-wise (currently sundried tomatoes-yum), but it just doesn’t rise as much as we want it to. Should we just add more than the recommended amount of yeast, or should we try adding some bicarb of soda/ vinegar or something, like with cakes? Currently the bread is yummy, but really dense.

How to make bread in a bread maker?

My mom and I are attempting to make bread in our bread maker for the first time. We purchased bread mix, and on the box the directions read “As an alternative, a bread machine may also be used with this recipe. Select the basic program (appoximately 3.5 hours). Our question is: Do we use the ingredients that is on the bread mix box? Or do we use the bread mix with the ingredients from the bread maker recipe book that came with the machine? Thanks!
Can home made bread with no preservatives be left out?

I have been making my own bread for about the last month or so. I’ve been putting it in the fridge, but I wonder if I have to? My husband said he hates cold bread. My son and my DH don’t like the consistency of it once it has been in the fridge. He believes that would be different if it was left out. Because the bread does not have any preservatives, wouldn’t it spoil if left out? How long can you leave it out before it goes bad?
