What are some good Cajun recipes?

I’m not cajun, and I have never made cajun food. But I love spicy, Louisiana home-style meals. Not to mention the seafood. However, I don’t know what recipes to trust.
Things I like: rice, vegetables, shellfish, catfish,
I hate breaded fish, though.
Any help?
Is Whole Wheat Bread healthy to eat everyday?

Culture project on Pan Dulce?

I am working on my culture project for spanish class and it is on Pan Dulce (sweet bread). I have a slide with a bunch of facts about the history of it and what it is, and I have two more slides on the different types and shapes of pan dulce. I can’t think of anything else to include in my project and I need more slides. Any ideas?

“Hey.” Riley’s breath tickled my ear and his arms snaked around my waist.
I jumped back in surprise, almost knocking over a plate which Penelope had just placed down on the granite kitchen counter.
“Riley! Master will hear us!” I hissed, pulling him away from the door.
“Oh, I’m terribly sorry, Simmi dear.” He mocked, his eyes shining with amusement.
I grimaced. “Please don’t call me Simmi, it makes me feel like a pet.”
Penelope gestured over his shoulder for me to hurry up and get him out. I smiled back apologetically.
He grinned. “How about; oh I’m terribly sorry Lady Simmer.”
I laughed. “You better get out of here, Master’ll see us. Go on!” I pushed him out of the kitchen, closing the door quietly and wiping the sweat which had gathered on my temple.
I wasn’t afraid of Master catching us, I’d be quite glad really, mainly because I’d finally get out of here. However, I’m not sure Riley wanted the same thing.
Penelope frowned at me whilst scrubbing the plate, which had beautiful, intricate designs on.
“You’ll get caught one day, Simmer.” She warned, brushing her golden locks behind her ears.
I shrugged. “I don’t care. But right now, I’m going home.” I slipped on my dark green, winter jacket with the fur hood and pried open the back door, snow collecting on my clothes as I closed it shut. I stomped through the layer of white which I glared at with hatred as it soaked through my boots, and glanced over at Mr. Buvo’s bakery shop.
The smell of cooking bread made my mouth water, and I savoured it pleasantly as I walked past, staring in longing at the food behind the glass.
We could never afford one of them, they’re for the rich ones. Us poor folk like to call them the Money grabbers, but they don’t take money, they earn it. But I guess it’s just because we envy them.
I rounded the corner to my house, and immediately stopped. Cars as black as night were parked outside, and I noticed mother and Katy being dragged through the door.
I recognised their smart uniform, mainly because of the black rose pin stitched into them. They’re the Hedens. The people who take them whom are thought to have committed a crime, and to the leader of Abaco X.
Immediate fear bubbled up inside me, and I began sprinting up to them, my face a mask of pure horror.
“Mother!” I screamed, and they all stopped what they were doing and stared at me, Katy trying to wriggle free of their obviously tight grips.
“Run Simmer! Run!”
what is white bread flour?

is it the same as regular bread flour and if not where can i buy it???im going to do a challah bread for tomorrow and it says white bread flour in the recipe
heres the recipe
2 cups warm water
1 tablespoon dry yeast
10 cups white bread flour
1 1/2 cups sugar (You can use an addition 1/4 cup to make it VERY sweet.)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks unsalted parve margarine
5 eggs
1 tsp almond extract
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup Cointreau (or other orange liqueur, or orange flower water)
1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds
Food,Sunblock & Depression?

I’ve noticed that when I changed my eating habits from American breads to European breads, Hamburgers and hot dogs and other store made foods to more home made foods, vegetables, and fruits my mood improved. I’ve never been a depressive person but I am always in a good mood now. The fact that I started taking 5-HTP to sleep better and that I go out into the sunshine without sunblock might have added to this improvement in my mood. In addition, I have heard several times(CNN, NBC), that a diet based on fast food makes people depressed. So I am wondering if any other people out there have encountered the same positive results as I have, just by implementing some changes in their eating habits? Maybe I can learn something new with that. I do exercise daily, but I was wondering if there are other things people do to keep their mood balanced and became well rounded again????Thank you

Anyone have a sweet recipe for a wreath made from crescent rolls?
I’ve looked in the pillbusry site and loved the appetizer holiday wreath but it’s savory, I’ll be having alot of savory food, so I wanted to have something sweet, anyone have one? I’ve seen Sandra lee also make some wreaths with leaf cutouts of biscuits or crescent rolls.
I like to experiment and try new things, so I’ll give yours a shot! Thanks to all. :O)

I’m pregnant since 2 months its my 8.2 week.
I have been eating 95 % restaurant food daily even after my pregnancy (I knew i was pregnant).
Thats bcoz I don’t have any supermarkets close to my house where I can get fresh veggies n fruits so that I can cook them at home.
Its way too far and only my hubby can get it while coming home from office.
But he just gets there once a week and gets veggies for 2-3 days.
Rest of the days….Restaurant! I’m sick.
I was looking someone to hire of the indian bread (made from whole wheat..very healthy) but couldn’t find one yet.
I’m supposed to eat some really good food, healthy one and its all going just the other way round.
Its making me sad that I’m not giving my baby a healthy start…but I want to.
Who is to be blamed?
What do I do?
Any tips, advice or suggestions?
