I recently found 5 cans of unused canned pumpkin in my cupboard leftover from thanksgiving and want to use it to make pumpkin bread and then freeze it for later use.

i have ibs, so i can’t eat spicy food
and for me, personally, it also means i can’t really eat healthy foods because they either are spicy, or they leave me unable to… well we won’t go into too much detail
even the recipes i’ve found specifically for people with ibs have onions, peppers, and other things that don’t go well in my stomach
are there any healthy recipes that don’t include peppers, onions, spice…
and do have SOLUBLE fiber

I’m baking a pumpkin loaf right now. 40 minutes into an hour at 350 and its got 3 big cracks. Yesterday I made pumpkin cheesecake muffins and they all had cracks around the edge. WHY!! Is this because I overdo it on the fresh pumpkin? (recipe calls for 1 c and i add 1+1/2 c) I overdo it on the spices, always, but I really don’t think thats why.
Why aren’t the things I bake smoothly mushrooming up?
I follow recipe correctly cept for when it comes to things like the major ingredient and spices. In this case, pumpkin. The oven is from the 50′s so it could possibly be off, it does need an hour to preheat.

Everyone says I listen to weird music. I guess it’s because I’m 14 and most kids my age listen to most of this stuff but yeah. & Yes I know some of it’s really cheesy… don’t be mean haha.
I don’t mind Lady Gaga. I mean I have about 5 or 6 of her songs, but I’m not a huge fan. Some of her songs are quite.. uh… annoying.
The Beatles aren’t still considered a good band…?

Some bands/singers I only have a few songs by (ex.- Brad Paisley, I have like two songs of his) but most of them I have full albums.

This is the first time I live on my own where I actually own a yard. I been living on my own for 6 years now since I cut the strings from my mommy… lol
Anyways, I finally live in a house for rent where I actually have my own yard therefore this year I started my very first garden. It is actually doing quite well. I bought a compost bin and want to start composting so that my garden can have more nutrients next year and year after, etc. I watched my father growing up how he took care of his garden and stuff and learned quite a bit but I forget how he composted everything.
All I been putting in there is anything food related like bread crumbs, egg shells and dead leaves or fruit/vegetables from the garden. Strawberries, green beans, yellow beans, sweet peas, pumpkins, corn on the cob, strawberries, turnips, beets, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and broccoli. Do I just put dead fruit/vegetables, leaves from the vegetables plant or anything food or edible related in there. Shut the lid, and it will degrade on its own by next summer. Should I add anything to it or stir it. Anything else I can add to it. When I weed my garden I shoot the weeds over the fence in the ditch, can I start putting weeds in the compost bin or will that ruin it?
Any ideas on things to put in there, how to take care of it and any other things I should know that I haven’t been told or read yet out of all the websites I’ve done research on?

I’m trying to decide what dessert to make for our family’s thanksgiving dinner.. there will be at least 15 ppl.. I want to try two desserts but one would be fine… Everyone likes brownies, cupcakes.. just whatever… I saw some cupcakes that look like pumpkins but I’m not sure about them, I am into doing creative desserts though. What kinda desserts are good and maybe somewhat traditional for thanksgiving?
& also if you know any great side dishes that everyone loves im lookin for another side dish, everyone is bringin somethin such as, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, rolls/bread, green beans, deviled eggs, corn.. so those are already taken care of

Well, I’m quite healthy – but I don’t eat veggies or fruits. I like olives, beans, potatoes, i could probably eat pumpkin & watermelon, i like oranges, could eat an apple, i think i like blueberries, & that’s about all. =/ I eat mainly meats, breads, I don’t eat that much junk food. I mean, is there something I can drink that will .. be a supplement for the loss of foods?

For Christmas day we all bring a crock pot of soup over and homemades breads so people can come and go and eat as they feel like it..This year I am having a hard time deciding what kind of soup to make…I dont want something like a squash, or pumpkin, or tortialla soup or anything like that. I would like to make a soup that everyone of all ages will enjoy, that will be filling , and taste much better than canned soup. It can be a basic soup as long as it is tasty..any ideas/recipes would be appreciated as i have a few ideas, but would like to see what others suggest..thanks and Merry Christmas….
