my bread machine cookbook calls for gluten..is that the same as wheat gluten?

I have no clue! the guy at piggly wiggly told me there is a difference but the people at the red mill company says its the same thing…HELP!!!
thanks for the input but the recipe just says gluten…all i can find is vital wheat gluten…is that the same thing? or is it like flour where you can buy white flour or wheat flour?

Can I use absolutely any cake mix to bake a cake in a sunbeam bread machine? I don’t really want to start from “scratch” by getting flour etc.
I generally bake a cake in the oven by using Betty Crocker’s cake mix or something along those lines.
This website is the only one which possibly says that I could use a ready to mix cake mix in a bread machine and I wanted a second opinion:

in www.allrecipes.com there is this recipe called “Clone of Cinnabon” its a recipe for cinnamon rolls USING a bread machine and when they say put the dough in bread machine and press dough cycle then press start ,they said wait for it to double in size, what does doubled in size means like second rise or kneading ………..

I have a bread machine that bakes 2-3lb loaves. I love the recipes that come with it, but I want to try something new. Problem is, I cant find any recipes for 3 lb loaves! I’ve made lots of 2 lb loaves so I dont need recipes for that. Does anyone know where I can get some good 3lb bread recipes?

My new bread machine produces 2 and 3 lb loaves that are too big for commercial bread bags that we have saved. Any ideas on where, on-line or in Ottawa ON, clear plastic bags would be available. Needs to fit loaf up to 10″l X 10″ h X 6″w. Thanks

I have a sourdough bread machine recipe to try. It calls for sourdough starter which I have a batch started. Now it calls for 2 cups bread flour. Would you see any reason why I couldn’t use wheat bread flour as a substitute to make it a bit healthy? Also would it effect the taste any and if so how?
