I just bought a sunbeam breadmaker from walmart, but it doesn’t bake the bread well at all?

It mixes the dough ball very well, but the bread is never bakes when the entire cycle is finished. What am i doing wrong, or is it just a defective machine. i used the recipe book that came with the machine and i used one simple recipe i found on the internet for french bread. none of them worked. the bread was always the same, uncooked and pasty white still, like lightly hardened dough on the outside, while the inside was always still soft and very moist and mushy. I am not an experienced breadmaker so i really need help because my husband looooves to have fresh hot bread every day. I just wanna make the guy happy… I don’t know how to ‘adjust’ the recipes or anything like that, please tell me if you’ve had similar experiences and what you did to fix it!

My kids love the ones from Olive Garden or Fazoli’s. I want to use the bread machine to make the dough. What will make them very soft? Tried and true recipes, please. I know how to search on the web, but I want someone’s personal experience with making them to send their recipe. Thanks!

I was thinking of giving a bread maker as a Christmas gift. I know nothing about them. Can you only make one loaf at a time? This would be for a family of six so one tiny loaf will not do.
I also want one that is easy to clean and easy to understand as far as directions go.
I might be able to get one at Costco or Sams, but if I know what the best one is I will buy it outright.
I will probably be making the bread as I watch my daughter’s kids. Is a bread machine much easier to use as compared to doing it all by hand? How long does it take to make from start to finish.

When I make bread in the bread machine following a recipe i.e strong flower yeast etc. they are normally not very good. but if i use a bread mix from the shop they are really good, but this is defeating the object of baking your own bread ? because they use all the additives and e numbers, Ideas please or where am I going wrong,, many thanks all

I am planning a simple dinner for my husband, our 2 year old daughter, our 4 month old son (haha) and I. I have planned to serve:
Turkey (I got a Butterball turkey breast, about 5 lbs.)
Mashed potatoes (family recipe) and gravy
Green beans
Pumpkin pie with Cool Whip for hubby, Dream Whip for the girls
Homeade (bread machine) bread
Sparkling white and red grape juice
Am I missing anything?

A friend of mine gave me a Welbilt 100-4 Bread Machine. I have never used one before and would like to know how I can go about getting some instructions for how to use it. I have searched online and found nothing. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I accidently left my bread machine for about 8 hours with a buttermilk bread doug in it. When I found out, I still baked the bread but now I wonder if I’ll get sick eating the 8 hour unrefrigerated buttermilk. How long can you keep buttermilk unrefrigerated?
